Two Engine Choices

The 2022 GMC Acadia comes with two engine options and drivetrains. Buyers can choose the base engine – a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 228 horsepower. The other choice, a 3.6-liter V6, creates 310 horsepower.

Both come standard with a 9-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. However, the AT4 only comes with all-wheel drive, and GMC offers all-wheel drive as an available option on the other three trims. Test drive all trims of the 2022 GMC Acadia today at our GMC dealership.

The AT4 with a V6

Formerly known as the All-Terrain model, the AT4 is the off-road trim GMC offers on all of its models. Even though the Acadia isn’t necessarily the best GMC option for serious off-roading, the Acadia has exterior styling, like 17-inch all-terrain tires and a twin-clutch rear axle.

The AT4 Acadia is the only trim that comes standard with all-wheel drive and the powerful 3.6-liter V6 engine. The Denali trim also comes with the same engine, but not with standard all-wheel drive. The EPA-estimated fuel economy on the V6 engine is 16/26 MPG.

Loaded with Standard Driver-Assistance Features

All 2022 GMC Acadia trims come loaded with safety features. The base SLE trim has a Following Distance Indicator, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, HD Rear Vision Camera, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and GM’s Teen Driver feature.

Available GMC HD Surround Vision

GMC offers available HD Surround Vision on the SLT, AT4, and Denali trims. This feature increases safety by giving the drivers more visibility. The feature activates when drivers are in reverse. Vehicles equipped with Surround Vision show the streaming video on the touchscreen and it shows blind spots, objects, pavement markings, and curbs when reversing out of parking spots.

It also activates anytime the vehicle is going under 5 MPH moving forward into a parking space and when in reverse. Surround Vision also activates while going forward and the sensors detect a nearby object.

Upscale and Comfortable Interior Styling

The GMC Acadia specs include comfortable styling with intuitive controls. Six-passenger seating is standard, but buyers can upgrade to seven-passenger seating. Heated front bucket seats are standard on all trims except the base option, and ventilation is available on the SLT and standard on the AT4 and Denali trims.

Buyers who choose the Denali trim get heated rear seats as a standard feature, too. The SLE comes with Premium Cloth seats, while the other trims all come with various leather seating choices. All models, except the base trim, come with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and on the 2022 GMC Acadia Denali, the steering wheel is heated.

Seating Configurations

The 2022 GMC Acadia configurations include seating for six or seven with three rows. Drivers who want seating for six get a second row with bucket seats and a third-row bench seat. The seven-seat configuration includes a second-row bench. Regardless of the seating configurations, the second row comes standard with the Smart Slide feature so passengers can easily access the third row.

Both rear rows can fold for added cargo space. The third-row seat has 50/50 split seats that fold flat. And the second-row passenger seats have a tip option that slides the seat forward for more cargo space.

Family-Friendly Infotainment Tech
